In conjunction with our client the Regional Transportation District (RTD), BBMK organized three tours of the Denver Union Station project for legislators and staff. Members of the House and Senate Transportation Committee as well as other interested legislators and staff attended the tours. Over the years BBMK has organized several events to provide members of the legislature and staff updates on RTD’s progress throughout the district. These tours are a great way to provide the members with a “hands on” view of the progress inside and outside of their respective legislative districts. On May 9, 2014 RTD will open the Denver Union Station Bus Complex and shortly following that the hotel and retail establishments will be open. The commuter rail portion of the project is scheduled to open in 2016.
