Brandeberry McKenna excited to announce two Senior Lobbyist hires

Brandeberry McKenna Public Affairs is thrilled to announce that the firm has hired two new Senior Lobbyists. The firm welcomes Susanna Mizer and Mollie Steinemann. Both Susanna and Mollie have proven track records of legislative success and their talents will serve to enhance and support Brandeberry McKenna’s mission of achieving results for their clients with integrity, hard work, and political savvy.

Susanna Mizer brings with her a variety of experiences working in Colorado elections, legislative advocacy and public policy development. Most recently, Ms. Mizer has successfully worked to advance legislation related to health care, behavioral health, criminal justice and affordable housing. A lifetime resident of Colorado, Ms. Mizer was raised in Fort Collins and earned her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science From Colorado Mesa University.

Mollie Steinemann has spent her entire career lobbying on behalf of a diverse range of clients in Colorado. Ms. Steinemann received a BA in Political Science and Communication Studies in 2016 from Colorado State University. Ms. Steinemann is proud to have successfully lobbied proposals ranging from labor and employment, liquor law, criminal justice, energy, and more. Outside of the Capitol, you can find her skiing, volunteering, or playing with her cat Poe.

Brandeberry McKenna looks forward to representing its diverse clients leading into the 2024 legislative session and beyond with the help of Ms. Mizer and Ms. Steinemann. They will start with the firm on October 1, 2023.
