Jennifer Mello
Ms. Mello specializes in health care, budget, regulatory and consumer issues.
Her prior experience includes working as Executive Director of the Colorado Democracy Alliance and with the Bighorn Center for Public Policy. Ms. Mello was the Policy Director for the House Minority Office in 2003-2004. Prior to her work at the State Capitol, Ms. Mello was a Senior Associate at Denver-based BBC Research & Consulting and a lobbyist for the National Governors’ Association in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Mello has a master's degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a bachelors degree in history and public policy from the University of Denver.
Ms. Mello's great-grandparents came to Colorado about 100 years ago and homesteaded near Las Animas. Ms. Mello grew up in Littleton and is a graduate of Arapahoe High School. Today, she lives in the Washington Park neighborhood with her husband and daughter.
