On June 10th Governor Hickenlooper signed HB16-1423 Student Data Collection Use Security which is being hailed as the strongest data privacy bill to be adopted in the country. BBMK on behalf of the State Board of Education and the Colorado Department of Education worked closely with the sponsors throughout the legislative process. Representatives Paul Lundeen and Alec Garnett and Senator Owen Hill were the legislative sponsors of HB16-1423.
