On June 1st Governor Hickenlooper signed HB16-1387 Health Insurance for Protein Allergic Conditions legislation that required coverage of medically necessary, prescribed medical foods for home use (formula) for severe protein allergic conditions for newborns and children. BBMK worked with the Children’s Milk Allergy and Gastrointestinal Coalition to pass this legislation.
